Abstract

This paper reports the difficulties in financial management in a small family business, investigating the challenges and how they affect the performance of the organization. The methodology used was qualitative, research done in books, articles, magazines and websites, along with case study. Financial Management is the area of ​​administration that takes care of the company's financial resources. (CHIAVENATO, 2014). In the course of the research, it is evident the contribution of management and financial tools in order to meet and contribute positively to the company's success. At the end of this paper, we highlight the need to implement and use management tools as a way to alleviate the possible restrictions caused by the lack of management information during the decision-making process. However, it depends mainly on the will of the entrepreneur.
