| Resumo: | O desmatamento na Amazônia gera uma série de problemas para a biodiversidade, representando, assim, desafios para as autoridades públicas. A presente pesquisa busca conscientizar as pessoas e as autoridades públicas, sobre a preservação da floresta amazônica. Para tanto, deve-se observar que existem leis vigentes, mas, que não tem sido suficiente para garantir a redução necessária no desmatamento. A escolha do tema sobreveio, com o objetivo de demonstrar o quanto os reflexos dos desmatamento na floresta amazônica são prejudiciais para todos os seres vivos do planeta, sendo este um dos maiores biomas do mundo, de onde são retirados recursos para a fabricação de medicamentos. Entretanto, o desmatamento exagerado está acabando com essa riqueza e as leis vigentes não estão conseguindo surtir efeito no combate ao desmatamento. Neste sentido, surge a biopirataria, que consiste na retirada de um recurso natural de forma irregular, sendo levada para outro país e patenteada como se fosse uma coisa originária daquele país a qual foi levada. O objetivo geral da pesquisa consiste em analisar o alarmante desmatamento na Amazônia, suas causas e, possíveis, consequências para a biodiversidade e os prejuízos para a sustentabilidade. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, bibliográfica e documental, baseando-se em tratados, leis, artigos e matérias publicadas em sites e revistas científicas do direito ou sobre o tema do desmatamento e seus efeitos para a biodiversidade. O resultado do trabalho é apresentado por meio de referenciais de pesquisas, em materiais tais como: tratados internacionais, leis, decretos, doutrinas, artigos científicos e documentos oficiais. A pesquisa conclui que a falta de políticas públicas na Amazônia que, realmente funcione, gera uma série de fatores, tanto no cenário econômico quanto na qualidade de vida da população e que o desmatamento nas últimas décadas contribuiu e muito para a diminuição da flora e fauna. |
| Abstract: | Deforestation in the Amazon generates a series of problems for biodiversity, thus representing challenges for public authorities. This research seeks to make people and public authorities aware of the preservation of the Amazon rainforest. To this end, it should be noted that there are laws in force, but that have not been sufficient to guarantee the necessary reduction in deforestation. The choice of theme came about, with the aim of demonstrating how harmful the consequences of deforestation in the Amazon rainforest are for all living beings on the planet, this being one of the largest biomes in the world, from which resources are withdrawn for the manufacture of medicines.However, exaggerated deforestation is ending this wealth and the current laws are not managing to have an effect in the fight against deforestation. In this sense, biopiracy arises, which consists of the removal of a natural resource in an irregular way, being taken to another country and patented as if it were something originating in that country to which it was taken. The general objective of the research is to analyze the alarming deforestation in the Amazon, its causes and possible consequences for biodiversity and damage to sustainability. The methodology used was qualitative, bibliographical and documentary research, based on treaties, laws, articles and articles published on websites and scientific journals of law or on the subject of deforestation and its effects on biodiversity. The result of the work is presented through research references, in materials such as: international treaties, laws, decrees, doctrines, scientific articles and official documents. The research concludes that the lack of public policies in the Amazon that really work, generates a series of factors, both in the economic scenario and in the quality of life of the population and that deforestation in recent decades has contributed a lot to the reduction of flora and fauna. |
