Abstract

ABSTRACT: This article deals with the General Data Protection Law and real estate law, and is justified because it is a current topic that impacts the lives of millions of Brazilians due to its relevance in the field of civil law. The problem question was defined as: how is the LGPD - General Data Protection Law applied by real estate companies? To answer this question, some objectives were defined. General objective: Analyze the application of the General Data Protection Law in real estate companies. And Specific objectives: study the history of the LGPD. Check how LGPD is applied. Evaluate how real estate agencies work applying the LGPD in their daily lives. The research was carried out using the hypothetical-deductive method as a reference. That is, it will use existing theories and seek to improve them, adding new explanations to them. This allows us to reach broad generalizations in the area studied. Bibliographical and documentary research was carried out in doctrinal works, bulletins and jurisprudence. This will be a multidisciplinary work as it will integrate Civil Law and Digital Law. It was divided into five topics, presented the history of the LGPD, then showed how it is applied by companies and in particular real estate companies. It took all the nuances of data processing to finally exemplify how security is carried out at WEB. Finally, the final considerations are presented.
