<title>SARCOPENIA E ATIVIDADE FÍSICA NA TERCEIRA IDADE: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA SOBRE FATORES DE RISCO E CONSEQUÊNCIAS</title>
<link>http://65.108.49.104:80/xmlui/handle/123456789/1222</link>
<description>SARCOPENIA E ATIVIDADE FÍSICA NA TERCEIRA IDADE: UMA REVISÃO NARRATIVA SOBRE FATORES DE RISCO E CONSEQUÊNCIAS
Sarcopenia is a syndrome characterized by the progressive loss of muscle&#13;
mass and strength, directly impacting the autonomy, functionality, and quality of life&#13;
of older adults. This study aims to analyze the risk factors, functional consequences,&#13;
and main prevention and treatment strategies, emphasizing the contribution of&#13;
Physical Education in managing the condition. It is a narrative literature review&#13;
carried out through searches in scientific databases (SciELO and Google Scholar),&#13;
covering articles published over the last 20 years. A total of 25 studies that met the&#13;
inclusion criteria were identified, considering older adult samples, interventions&#13;
involving physical activity and/or nutrition, as well as outcomes related to sarcopenia.&#13;
The main findings show that sedentary lifestyle, malnutrition, and chronic diseases&#13;
are among the most relevant risk factors, while regular resistance training combined&#13;
with adequate protein and vitamin D intake proved effective in preserving muscle&#13;
mass and function. Furthermore, the interdisciplinary role of Physical Education,&#13;
together with health professionals, is highlighted in designing personalized programs&#13;
that promote autonomy, prevent falls, and support active aging. It is concluded that&#13;
integrated interventions, combining physical exercise and nutritional support, are&#13;
essential to delay the progression of sarcopenia, reduce frailty, and improve the&#13;
quality of life of older adults, emphasizing the importance of public policies aimed at&#13;
promoting health in this population.

<title>EFEITOS DO EXERCÍCIO FÍSICO NO CONTROLE DA HIPERTENSÃO ARTERIAL EM ADULTOS: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA</title>
<link>http://65.108.49.104:80/xmlui/handle/123456789/1220</link>
<description>EFEITOS DO EXERCÍCIO FÍSICO NO CONTROLE DA HIPERTENSÃO ARTERIAL EM ADULTOS: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
Systemic arterial hypertension (SAH) is one of the most prevalent non-communicable&#13;
chronic diseases and a major risk factor for cardiovascular events. Physical exercise is&#13;
recognized as an effective non-pharmacological intervention in blood pressure&#13;
management. The aim of this systematic review was to analyze studies available in the&#13;
SciELO database, between 2020 and 2025, on the effects of physical exercise in adults&#13;
aged 18 to 50, of both sexes, diagnosed with hypertension. Thirteen studies were&#13;
included, addressing aerobic, resistance, isometric, and combined exercise modalities.&#13;
Results showed average reductions of –5 to –12 mmHg in systolic blood pressure (SBP)&#13;
and –3 to –7 mmHg in diastolic blood pressure (DBP), with combined training being the&#13;
most effective. We conclude that regular physical exercise should be incorporated into&#13;
the routine of hypertensive adults as a safe and complementary strategy to&#13;
pharmacological treatment

<title>A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DA PSICOMOTRICIDADE PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO MOTOR E SOCIAL DE CRIANÇAS COM TEA: REVISÃO NARRATIVA DA LITERATURA</title>
<link>http://65.108.49.104:80/xmlui/handle/123456789/1218</link>
<description>A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DA PSICOMOTRICIDADE PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO MOTOR E SOCIAL DE CRIANÇAS COM TEA: REVISÃO NARRATIVA DA LITERATURA
This work presents a narrative literature review exploring the role of psychomotor skills&#13;
in the development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with special&#13;
attention to the role of the Physical Education professional. Initially, 38 studies were&#13;
identified in the SciELO, PubMed, BVS, and Google Scholar databases using the&#13;
descriptors "psychomotor skills," "autism," "children," and "motor development." After&#13;
a rigorous selection process that excluded duplicates, opinion articles, theses,&#13;
dissertations, and publications establishing a direct relationship between psychomotor&#13;
skills and child development, the included studies date from 2011 to 2025. To organize&#13;
the findings, the Motor Development Scale (MDS) by Rosa Neto was used, which&#13;
structures the analysis into seven psychomotor factors: fine motor skills, gross motor&#13;
skills, balance, body schema, spatial organization, temporal organization, and&#13;
laterality. The results reveal that psychomotor interventions, generally conducted in a&#13;
playful manner and adapted to the sensory needs of children, promote significant&#13;
improvements in motor skills, nonverbal communication, social interaction, and&#13;
functional autonomy. The need for specialized training for Physical Education&#13;
professionals, as well as family involvement and support, to maximize the effects of&#13;
the interventions is highlighted. It is concluded that psychomotor skills are a valuable&#13;
tool to promote the integral development and social inclusion of children with Autism&#13;
Spectrum Disorder.

<title>KARATÊ E O DESENVOLVIMENTO PSICOMOTOR EM CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES</title>
<link>http://65.108.49.104:80/xmlui/handle/123456789/871</link>
<description>KARATÊ E O DESENVOLVIMENTO PSICOMOTOR EM CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES
Karate is an oriental martial art that originated in China, 6th century AD, and has&#13;
fundamental principles that are interconnected with the process of cognitive&#13;
development of the human being. Psychomotricity is a transdisciplinary field of study&#13;
that analyzes the relationship between the psyche and motor skills. This work aims to&#13;
analyze the impact of karate practice on the psychomotor development of children&#13;
and adolescents by analyzing articles found in the following databases: Google&#13;
Scholar and CAPES, Portal de Periódicos and banks of Theses and Dissertations.&#13;
The results of the selected papers were that karate is an advantage for the proper&#13;
and controlled performance of tasks; and that karate helps the motor, cognitive and&#13;
social development of children and adolescents. The study shows that karate promotes psychomotor development, as it promotes the development of skills such&#13;
as laterality, alternation, peripheral vision and rapid motor response.
