<title>DO NASCIMENTO AO DESMAME DA BEZERRA LEITEIRA: como minimizar a morbidade e a mortalidade</title>

<description>DO NASCIMENTO AO DESMAME DA BEZERRA LEITEIRA: como minimizar a morbidade e a mortalidade
The rearing of dairy calves from birth to weaning is a critical stage for ensuring the productive efficiency and sustainability of dairy production systems. This study aimed to analyze, based on scientific literature and field observations, the main factors associated with morbidity and mortality in dairy calves, as well as management strategies to minimize these losses. The methodology consisted of a narrative literature review with an integrative approach, combined with observational analysis in a dairy production system, allowing the correlation between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The results demonstrated that calf losses during the pre-weaning period are primarily associated with failures in early-life management, especially inadequate passive immunity transfer, improper nutritional management, poor sanitary conditions, and suboptimal environmental factors. It was observed that practices such as effective colostrum management, monitoring of colostrum quality, proper feeding strategies, sanitary control, and adequate housing conditions are essential to reduce disease incidence and mortality rates. In conclusion, the adoption of integrated management strategies, combined with staff training and standardized protocols, is fundamental to improve calf health, development, and future productive performance.

Bisphosphonates are drugs used in the treatment of bone diseases, acting by inhibiting bone resorption. Despite their benefits, they are associated with osteonecrosis of the jaws, especially after invasive procedures. This study aimed to review the clinical repercussions of bisphosphonate use in implant dentistry, focusing on the risk of osteonecrosis and surgical management. This is an integrative literature review analyzing 26 sources published between 2016 and 2026. The results indicate that there is no absolute contraindication for implants in patients using oral bisphosphonates, provided that individualized assessment and preventive measures are adopted. Intravenous use, however, presents a higher risk and requires greater caution. It is concluded that treatment success depends on proper planning, conservative protocols, and a multidisciplinary approach.

<description>INDICADORES DE LIQUIDEZ E RENTABILIDADE: uma análise contábil da situação econômico - financeira das empresas
This article focuses on the analysis of liquidity and profitability indicators as instruments for evaluating the assets and economic-financial situation of entities. The study aims to analyze, in an integrated way, liquidity and profitability indicators as tools capable of revealing the real situation of an entity. The relevance of this research is related to the need for confidential and useful accounting information to support safer and more practical decision-making. For the development of this work, an applied research, with a quantitative approach, was carried out, based on bibliographic and documentary research, based on authors in the accounting field. In addition, a hypothetical case study was developed, enabling the practical application of liquidity and profitability indicators in the analysis of the economic-financial situation of an entity. The article also addresses concepts related to accounting information and its qualitative characteristics, according to NBC TG Conceptual Framework, highlighting its relevance for the preparation and interpretation of accounting reviews, as well as presenting the main methods of analysis of these projections. This research seeks to answer the following question: how can liquidity and profitability indicators contribute to the analysis of the payment capacity and efficiency of entities in generating results? The results obtained through the analysis of financial projections, using liquidity and profitability indicators, allowed for a broader and more consistent understanding of the economic and financial situation of the economic entity, highlighting both its ability to honor commitments and its efficiency in generating results.

<title>BIÓPSIA LÍQUIDA NO DIAGNÓSTICO ONCOLÓGICO DE PEQUENOS ANIMAIS: Avanços, Desafios e Perspectivas</title>

<description>BIÓPSIA LÍQUIDA NO DIAGNÓSTICO ONCOLÓGICO DE PEQUENOS ANIMAIS: Avanços, Desafios e Perspectivas
Liquid biopsy is often presented as an alternative to tissue biopsy, particularly in&#13;
response to the limitations of conventional diagnostic methods. This study aimed to&#13;
critically evaluate the applicability of liquid biopsy in veterinary oncology, addressingits biological foundations, key biomarkers, clinical applications, limitations, and future&#13;
perspectives. An integrative literature review was conducted based on a systematic&#13;
search of major scientific databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science,&#13;
SciELO, and Google Scholar, covering studies published between 2015 and 2025. A&#13;
total of 12 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The findings revealed&#13;
a predominance of studies in dogs and highlighted the central role of cell-free DNA&#13;
(cfDNA) and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), supported by advances in&#13;
next-generation sequencing technologies. Liquid biopsy demonstrated greater&#13;
consistency in longitudinal disease monitoring, particularly for assessing therapeutic&#13;
response and tumor progression. However, its clinical application remains limited by&#13;
factors such as reduced sensitivity in early-stage disease, tumor heterogeneity, and&#13;
lack of methodological standardization. Overall, liquid biopsy represents a valuable&#13;
complementary tool to traditional diagnostic methods, with future potential linked to&#13;
multimodal biomarker integration and ongoing developments in precision medicine.
