Abstract:
This work aims to analyze, through a psychological perspective, the experience of
women in the labor market throughout Brazilian history, considering the psychosocial,
cultural and economic aspects involved. The research is a narrative review of the
insertion of women in the labor market and the contribution of psychology as a science
for psychological support and understanding of their journey, which due to the
inequality perpetuated throughout history, results in significant psychological, cultural
and economic losses for the female gender.
