Abstract:
Cesarean delivery was performed only when the woman was unable to have a normal delivery, currently the caesarean section has taken on major proportions, exceeding the recommended. The specific objective was to highlight their real indications by detecting the nurse's allowance. To support the research, we reported in the database of the Virtual Health Library (VHL), using the descriptors: Cesarean section, Nursing, Childbirth and Choice. We found 14 articles matching inclusion criteria. The results showed several factors related to the increase in the number of cesarean sections, including: previous experiences, fear of normal birth pain, influence of family members and health professionals. It has been identified that when cesarean delivery is performed routinely can lead to various complications. It was found that most women prefer normal delivery because of the benefits, but the high incidence is cesarean section. This allows us to state that women do not exercise their autonomy at a time when their choice should be respected. Therefore, it is concluded that nurses and other health professionals play a major role in this issue, because it is up to them to guide, answer questions, and report the benefits of each mode of delivery, and normal delivery should be encouraged and encouraged. no thank you, because you must respect the choice of women, given their principle of autonomy.
