Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the relevance of leadership in organizational environments
through a qualitative literature review, exploring concepts, theories and leadership
styles, as well as their influence on employee motivation, organizational culture and
business results. The research used articles from the SciELO and PubMed databases.
Based on the information obtained from the studies analyzed, it was found that organizational leadership is an essential element in modern management, directly
impacting the performance, productivity and sustainability of companies. In a
competitive and dynamic scenario, the ability of leaders to motivate and positively
influence their teams stands out as a decisive factor in aligning individual objectives
with the strategic objectives of the organization. This promotes an environment
conducive to innovation, efficiency and sustainable growth, reinforcing the importance
of effective leadership as a pillar of organizational success. It is also important for
leaders to be familiar with the temperament model, which has been increasingly
discussed in the literature, given its importance for adopting a leadership style that is
in fact effective in meeting the organization’s objectives and purposes, especially in
business management.
