Abstract:
Physical Education is a pedagogical practice that deals with forms of expressive body activities that we call body culture. As all know, its history has several pedagogies over time. Among them is there forming critic, which shows that no discipline has its full meaning in the curriculum in isolation. It needs to make a dialogue with reality, so that it contributes to thinking in a way that brings explanations of the phenomena experienced, especially in the capitalist world. And it is in this dialogue with reality that critical-overcoming pedagogy stands out. This research aims to analyze the Physical Education in the city of Inhumas-GO from the perspective of critical overcoming proposal, from 6th to 9th grade – Elementary School II. The research is justified by promoting discussion, reflection and encouraging physical education as a theme of body culture, being treated pedagogically at school in a sensitive period in which the adolescent undergoes changes.
