Abstract:
The population of difficult access is little assisted by health professionals due to their absence and little adherence from health units. This situation can cause several factors conducive to harm, such as sexually transmitted infections, social and mental problems, drug use and alcoholism. This set of consequences leads to a serious public health problem in Brazil. Given the above, we emphasize the importance of this article, which aims to study the prevalence of alcohol use in a population that is difficult to access. Alcohol abuse causes social, physical and psychological problems. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct studies that relate this population in a situation of vulnerability and the patterns of alcohol consumption, so this study is an integrative review that focuses on the study of the Brazilian transgender population. The selection of the researched material will be made from searches in the databases available online. For the identification of publications with data on prevalence of alcohol use, the following databases will be used: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS); Nursing Database (BDENF) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) and PubMed. The period delimited for the research will be 2010 to 2020. Among the main theoretical references, Myiamoto and Vencato (2013,2003) are included. Brazil is an important country in relation to health care, mainly in relation to primary care. It is necessary to include and qualify health professionals for preventive care and health promotion for the entire vulnerable community, as well as inclusion in Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPs) for welcoming and multiprofessional assistance.
