Abstract:
The relationship between companies and the environment has been quite
antagonistic over the years. At any rate, this relationship has been changing at a
slow pace, considering the social, political, and economic pressure we are
experiencing today. This article aims to lead the reader to question and empower
themselves about how large, medium, and small entrepreneurs and managers
position themselves to preserve the environment. For this, scientific research was
made, taking into account the thesis of great authors such as Theodoro and
Tachizawa. Nowadays, this subject is treated with more relevance by the
companies because raising awareness in society, in general, brings numerous
benefits to them.
