Abstract:
This monograph consists of a case study that addressed the theme is in Information
Technology (IT) and were sought answers to the following issues: What are the
influences of IT on the organizational environment of a small estate in the city of
Ituiutaba- MG? The objective of this study was to identify and raise the influence of IT
on organizational environment of a small estate. The specific objectives delimited on
doing library research on the topic, observe the influences of information technology
on organizational environment and conduct an interview through a questionnaire, all
employees of the company, including the manager, totaling a sample of six people in
order to detect which are the main changes in the organizational environment
stemming from the implementation of IT and check the behavior of employees at
such a deployment. This study was justified, given that the major concern of the
entrepreneur, is focused on implementation of IT and its influence in the
organizational environment. Enabled the company to focus of this study to evaluate
the influence of IT on the organizational environment, and thus provide a way to
determine measures to meet organizational improvements in the environment may
constitute itself into a competitive advantage. It was concluded therefore that there
are many influences of information technology on the organizational environment,
once they reach the company in general, from employees to their structure, forcing
the company to change their attitudes and beliefs, particularly with respect to
employees.
