Abstract:
The growing increase in the vehicle fleet and the different loads they have has caused problems for urban pavements, especially in cities under development. The traffic study consists of na assessment made by systematic collection methods, where the fundamental objective is to see the relationship between all components that make up the traffic with the environment in which it is inserted. It is an important tool that helps to meet the needs of traffic routes and to make a good planning of the road network. The level of uncertainty in pavement design is much higher than in the dimensions of other civil engineering structures, such as buildings, dams, bridges, etc. In fact, it is very complex to accurately predict the demands generated by the commercial traffic attracted by the construction of new pavements. Therefore, this work aims to evaluate traffic and evidence the pathologies present in the stretch of Avenida Rio Verde, also carrying out a photographic survey, and flow analysis using standards and guidelines.
