Abstract:
Objective: to understand the perceptions of nursing students about palliative care. Method: the study is an integrative literature review approach that sought to present the review and critical analysis on the subject, consisting of the fulfillment of 6 steps. The search for this research began with advanced search methods through virtual searches. Results: 29 articles were searched and selected, 15 of which were excluded for not presenting expected content according to the topic addressed. A final sample of 10 articles was obtained, distributed in selected databases. Conclusion: there is a need for reflection and discussion on palliative care in the training of nursing students, allowing them to become trained and able to face and deal with palliative care for these terminally ill patients.
