Abstract:
It is intended, in this research, the importance of storytelling in early childhood education, analyzing how storytelling influences children's teaching and learning. Regarding the primary objective of the research, it is highlighted that this is the analysis of the importance of storytelling for the development of the teaching and learning process of children in early childhood education. And in this case, this study is based on theoretical references that will give clues to the theme, which in turn will subsidize and will be the conceptual basis built through Dohme (2010), Busatto (2012), Vygotsky (1989), among other theorists of such a theme. In this sense, children learn by playing, they are learned children and as children were seen with playful activities because they are children. Educators have an important role in teaching the expansion, expansion or development of the child's functions and consequently to provide a performance in the classroom, expanding the learning and learning process.
