Abstract:
The present work has as its theme, to address the causes of mental disorders related
to nursing students. Initially, it will be reported about the mental disorder relating its
causes and its development. Then, approach what is Common Mental Disorder
(CMD), what is its relationship with anxiety and depression, in order to analyze how
these disorders affect the life and academic development of these students. In this
context, the objective was to investigate the causes of the development of mental
disorders that affect these Nursing students. This is an integrative literature review,
carried out in PubMed, Scielo and VHL databases. The combined and boolean
descriptors, or and and were used. The results suggest that CMDs are acquired
when they arrive at the HEI and continue until the end of graduation, possibly leading
to a more serious mental disorder.
