Abstract:
Bone maceration can be an alternative for obtaining anatomical pieces for didactic use. With
that in mind, this research aims to test pineapple juice as an agent of bone maceration of a
vertebrate, in order to, for didactic purposes, verify its effectiveness in the preparation of
skeletons. Therefore, the research starts from the following problem situation: can bone
maceration with pineapple juice contribute to obtaining anatomical pieces for didactic use? The
methodology used was experimental research. The conclusion points to the efficiency of this
low-cost natural product for maceration of skeletons for didactic purposes.
