Abstract:
The research tries to show the occurrence of some pathological manifestations
in buildings, so that it can specifically emphasize the diagnosis and treatment of
fissures, seeking to carry out the follow-up in addition to proposing a definitive
solution in order to remedy the specific problem. Currently, it is known that
schedules are increasingly tight and construction companies, whether small,
medium or large, aim mostly at profits - not generalizing, since there are
exceptions to the rule -, leaving in certain cases the main rules construction
techniques aside; with this, the emergence of pathological manifestations has
been gradually more noticeable in buildings. The objective was to analyze the
main pathological manifestations, presenting their probable causes with theorigin and mechanism of occurrence, as well as proposing possible corrective
and preventive solutions so that the buildings as a whole can present the
expected performance and durability. Regarding constructive and pathological
analysis, Brazil already has Technical Standards that specify from materials to
executive methods, such as NBR 15.575. The case study will be developed in
the city of Itaberaí - GO, and it is intended to carry out inspections in popular
standard houses in order to correlate the vices found with the bibliography
proposing corrective methods to remedy such pathological manifestations.
