Abstract:
Agrarian Law has become more reformulated over time and more comprehensive in the
broad area of Law. The general objective of this research is to show how the
struggle of rural workers in the city of Itauçu took place, showing how they conquered
their rights through social movements created by them. This work aimed to carry out a
study in order to understand the influence of the practice of Agrarian Law in the events of
the 1950s to 1960s. As a result of the research, a sample of the experiences lived by
rural workers was obtained, not only in the city of Itauçu, but throughout the State of
Goiás. Thus, it can be concluded that the various efforts made by peasants to conquer
their rights presented results, which reflect in today's society.
