Abstract:
The work on the issue of women in Brazil in the light of the constitutional foundation of the human person. Thus, the main objective was to verify the conditions in which companies deprived of their liberty find themselves. Therefore, the norms that deal with the subject in the Brazilian legal system, the profile of the incarcerated woman, the difficulties faced by women in prison, the social stigma around this subject and the conditions of Brazilian women's penitentiaries were investigated. Therefore, bibliographic and documentary research methods were used. In the end, it was concluded that the freedom of the human person is not being guaranteed private freedom in Brazil.
