Abstract:
The main objective of this paper is to address some of the principles listed in the Federal Constitution of 1988, in order to demonstrate the conflict between these principles in relation to euthanasia. For this, the inductive method was used, which starts from the particular precept for the comprehension of a generalization. It was found in the research the existence of a conflict between the right to life and that of the dignity of the human person, since guaranteeing life, not meeting the will of a possessor of a terminal illness, holder of anguish and great suffering, would be injuring their dignity. Thus, there is a need to regulate euthanasia in Brazil, giving the faculty of choice to man.
