Abstract:
In this paper we will present the reverse logistics, explain what is, how it works, what benefits it can bring, both for the company and the environment, because reverse logistics is the inverse path that most people know, which is the one that goes from the company to the customer, since the reverse logistics goes from the customer to the company. Reverse logistics is the process of efficiently planning, implementing and controlling the raw materials, inputs, finished products , materials in process and other information from point of consumption to the point of origin (from the customer to the company), to reuse some parts and / or carry out the correct disposal. Helping both companies and the environment, it is a tool that in a few years will be indispensable for all companies, as it will cease to be a differential, something more, and it will become a necessity. This work analyzes the cases described in the literature, with the aim of highlighting the logistics concept for materials recycling activities and their importance for environmental sustainability, explaining the reasons for the use of Reverse Logistics and environmental concern.
