Abstract:
Objective: This study aims to analyze the importance of inclusion regarding the
dialogue between healthcare professionals and deaf patients. Methodology: The
present study will be approached as an integrative literature review, through
bibliographic research using electronic materials. Results: Healthcare services and
their professionals should acquire language skills necessary for effective
communication during consultations with deaf patients, and increase awareness to
contribute and improve communication deficits when necessary. Conclusion:
Through this study, it was observed that over the years of research, this type of care
has been neglected due to communication difficulties.
