Abstract:
This article aims to present physical activity recommendations for pregnant women, in
addition to the activities that can be done during pregnancy, the benefits and risks. This
work was carried out based on scientific articles, in the Scielo, Pubmed, Google Scholar
database. Physical activity should be recommended to every healthy pregnant woman.
Its practice during pregnancy provides numerous benefits for the pregnant woman and
the baby. However, few pregnant women are aware of these benefits and few adhere to
exercise practices during pregnancy, out of fear or because they do not have guidance
from their doctor.
