Abstract:
This article is the result of the course completion work, from the Faculty of
Inhumas-FacMais, of the Pedagogy course. The text is organized into three
topics. The first title The Historicity of Child Education, presents the history of
Early Childhood Education from the recognition of childhood to the present day,
being today governed by the BNCC, a normative document whose structuring axes are interactions and play. The second topic describes: The role of the
family and Child Education in child development. Both, family and school are
inseparable in their development. And the third topic entitled: Family and school
relationship, highlights that the family is responsible for children from the first
day of life, being the foundation for education and the main incentive for school
life. The methodology used was bibliographical research, with the main authors:
Azevedo (2013), Caetano and Yaegashi (2014), Parolin (2016). This article
contextualizes the need for rapprochement between family and school with the
main objective of the child's comprehensive education, highlighting the role that
each institution plays in the development of children in Child Education. The
importance and influence that each one has on the student's development is
characterized, and highlights the value that both in partnership can achieve,
providing educational possibilities for their social development, as a citizen and
their intellectual formation.
