Abstract:
This monograph is based on the study of an institute of Criminal Law, known Plea bargain as that is the collaboration of a criminal agent in the face of justice in order to minimize the consequences of possible penalties applicable, also aims to discuss if there is violation to principles, and even even by showing its constitutionality. In a second moment, it will bring to light the application of such an institute in the famous Operation Lava Jato, which is one of the most important operations in the country today. The operation Lava Jato is formed by several investigations carried out by the Brazilian Federal Police, at its apex it fulfilled around a thousand warrants, among them of arrest, search and seizure and coercive conduction, always aiming at unveiling the biggest scheme of money laundering in Brazilian history , which handled Billions in public funds and involved big names of the Brazilian political and business senator. Being the Awarded Accessory Delight of great importance in Operation Lava Jet, the present Work seeks to bring its positive and negative aspects, its legality and finally its effectiveness, after all this institute never had as much importance as in the present moment.
