Abstract:
Even in the face of the most diverse adversities and problems arising from a series of
systemic contexts applied to the pharmaceutical sector, the pharmaceutical
profession must still be understood as an area of potential, as it operates in one of
the pillars within the scope of the economy and of social relevance. In this sense, the
research question is the following question: "What is the best career choice for
individuals who wish to work in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry? Is taking
on the risks and challenges of entrepreneurship a good way out of current
problems?" This work was justified by an intense and urgent scenario where issues
relating to entrepreneurship in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic fields are constantly
neglected and left aside in the training of students and in their paths after receiving
their diplomas, as undergraduate pharmacy students complete their graduation is to
have knowledge of what possibilities they have within the entrepreneurial scope of
pharmacy. This research adopted the methodological perspective of the bibliographic
modality, with a qualitative approach of integrative synthesis, in order to investigate
the particularities of the entrepreneurship process in the pharmaceutical sector, in
addition to identifying its potentialities and major problems. This may include a look at
new and future advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and
personalized medicine, to improve research, development and patient care. The
findings that the research had at the end of its methodological path make it clear that
entrepreneurship in the pharmaceutical sector goes far beyond dealing with and
implementing financial demands, but expands as a possibility for growth not only in
terms of business but also demonstrates that it is in line with several social advances
and for the community in general.
