Abstract:
Knowledge management contributes to restoring the value of the individual within the organization, while competency-based management proposes offering tools that help organizations transform information and knowledge into a tool for competitive advantage. Since knowledge expands when used, shared, or shared, the ability to manage and administer knowledge is the most valuable raw material for organizations. Knowledge management is transformed into an unlimited source of benefits for organizations, especially in the long term, as capital has always sought to transform knowledge into a commodity. The creation and development of organizational competencies are based on learning and accumulation, resulting from experience in implementing strategies, through the analysis of the results contained in the information gathered from the company's internal and external environments. Therefore, Knowledge Management helps companies stay ahead of their competitors and thus gain a competitive advantage in the market.
