dc.description.abstract	This paper analyzes the inheritance rights of socio-affective children after the death of a parent, considering their equivalence with biological children, granting the individual parental ties that are not necessarily biological, but rather based on coexistence, care, and affection. Despite advances, gaps remain regarding the recognition of socio-affective filiation post mortem, which generates legal uncertainty and inheritance controversies. In this context, the research seeks to understand the rights of socio-affective children and how they are equated with biological children. The methodology is qualitative, legally dogmatic in nature, and based on legislation, doctrine, and case law. The study aims to contribute to the academic and legal debate, reinforcing the importance of affection in Inheritance Law.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O presente trabalho analisa os direitos sucessórios dos filhos socioafetivos após a morte do genitor considerando, para tanto, a equiparação com os filhos biológicos, conferindo ao indivíduo laços parentais não necessariamente biológicos, mas fundamentados na convivência, cuidado e afeto Apesar dos avanços, ainda existem lacunas quanto ao reconhecimento da filiação socioafetiva post mortem, o que gera insegurança jurídica e controvérsias sucessórias. Nesse cenário, a pesquisa busca compreender quais são os direitos do filho socioafetivo e como ocorre sua equiparação em relação aos filhos biológicos. A metodologia é qualitativa, de natureza jurídico-dogmática, fundamentada em legislação, doutrina e jurisprudência. O estudo pretende contribuir para o debate acadêmico e jurídico, reforçando a importância da afetividade no Direito das Sucessões.	pt_BR
