Abstract:
The present work had as its theme the salary equalization and the woman's labor market. Initially, we analyzed the influences of several factors in shaping the current position of women in the labor market, especially those of a religious nature. Then, several historical processes were analyzed to verify how they contributed to the present scenario. Protective standards elaborated on Brazilian soil over the years were analyzed. The core themes of labor law were addressed, at which time the principles of labor law, the parts of the employment relationship and the employment contract were studied. Finally, salary and its characteristics were also analyzed, when, also, the theme of wage discrimination, women's labor market, public policies and equalization were also discussed.
