Abstract:
This monograph, presented as a course conclusion paper, had as its theme. The
practice of playfulness in teaching Volleyball in Physical Education classes in the 8th
year of elementary school in the city of Itauçu-GO. And, for this research proposal, the
following problem question was elaborated: what are the contributions of volleyball,
through playfulness in the development of 8th grade students in elementary school?
The general objective of this research was to analyze whether at school the teacher
worked through playfulness. The specific objectives were to know how the teacher
worked and whether at school he had the structure so that he had an adequate space
to work. In this way, the work was carried out on bibliographic research where it is
based on some works, for example Bulgarelli (2017), GRANDIS (2020), Wisniewski
(2020), BRASIL (1998), among others. To this end, this work was divided into three
chapters. The first aimed to present the History of Physical Education and Volleyball.
The second chapter contemplated volleyball at school talking about the fundamentals
and playfulness. And finally, in the third chapter, we present the data from the empirical
research, carried out based on a questionnaire applied to a physical education teacher
at the State College of the Military Police of Itauçu GO.
