Abstract:
The sugar and alcohol sector have a major challenge to adapt to global changes and
to the market requirements, whatever its size, in this sense, the present monograph
is designed to identify and demonstrate what are the main extrinsic factors that may
cause the motivation in sugarcane company´s employees, focus of this study. The
topic addressed is justified in that it recognizes the factors that have the capacity to
motivate people have become a task of great importance for the sugarcane
company. This work was conducted through a study case in a company that operates
in the sugar and alcohol, and it´s seven years in the market and it has 3,035
employees, between urban and rural areas. The research conducted in this study
were literature and exploratory type, developed with material already written and
published, and it´s made up of books and scientific articles that address key factors
that may cause motivation in employees. Based on the results obtained, some
factors are fundamental and certainly provoke motivation in the company's workers,
among the factors raised, we can highlight the opportunity for growth that the
employees have in relation to the organization and the salary plus benefits, since
most employees interviewed placed greater level of importance to these factors,
relevant to work motivation.
