dc.description.abstract	The incidence of dengue cases has increased considerably worldwide. According to data from the Ministry of Health, in Brazil, the spread of the dengue virus increased significantly in 2022, with an incidence of 855,910 cases. Dengue is a rapidly spreading and endemic viral disease. Therefore, the purpose of the research was to analyze the profile of the disease and raise the main advances in management and treatment. To this end, the integrative literature review method was used, without language restriction, on sites such as PubMed, Scielo, Datasus, among others. It was concluded that there is still no consensus for the clinical management of dengue. The protocol currently used refers only to the symptoms caused by the virus. It was also noted that there is already a vaccine available in Brazil and another 5 in development. Therefore, the best method to contain the disease is still the preventive and vector containment methods.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	A incidência de casos de dengue tem sofrido considerável aumento em todo o mundo. De acordo com dados do Ministério da Saúde, no Brasil, a disseminação do vírus da dengue aumentou significativamente no ano de 2022, com a incidência de 855.910 casos. A dengue é uma doença viral com propagação rápida e endêmica. Portanto, a finalidade da pesquisa foi a de analisar o perfil da doença e levantar os principais avanços no manejo e no tratamento. Para tal, foi utilizado o método de revisão de literatura do tipo integrativa, sem restrição de idiomas, em sites como PubMed, Scielo, Datasus, dentre outros. Concluiu-se que ainda não existe um consenso para o manejo clínico da dengue. O protocolo utilizado atualmente refere-se apenas aos sintomas causados pelo vírus. Notou-se também que já existe uma vacina disponível no Brasil e outras 5 em desenvolvimento. Sendo assim, o melhor método para conter a doença ainda são os métodos preventivos e de contenção do vetor.	pt_BR
