Abstract:
Edible mushrooms have a wide variety of substrates for cultivation. Based on
this assumption, the objective of this work was the systematic survey of works
and their effectiveness regarding the analysis of several substrates for
cultivation. With this survey, using the key words "mushrooms", "cultivation" and
"substrate" in the Google Scholar platform in a specific period of time, important
information present in the studies that corroborate each other of cultivation
practices such as, pre-cultivation hygiene, besides the validation of points in old
literature that have points to be considered for a good cultivation, were found.
With this assumption, 10 articles were found that met the criteria established for
the review. In view of the studies it was observed that criteria such as
temperature, location and humidity are extremely influential factors in cultivation,
in addition to the need for evaluative criteria for measuring the results after
harvesting the fungi, as well as visual characteristics such as coloration, tears
and ruptures of the fruiting bodies and stains from the substrate that was used.
