EVOLUÇÃO HISTÓRICA DAS LEGISLAÇÕES DO CONSELHO FEDERAL DE ENFERMAGEM PARA ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO OBSTETRA

Abstract

The role of nurse in human health care comprehends various areas of action,, among them obstetrics. The objective of this article was to report the existing resolutions of the Federal Council of Nursing (COFEN) that support the work of nurses in the area of obstetric. For this, a documental research was carried out, mediated by the search and interpretation of the available legislations on the COFEN site with the obstetrics theme. It is concluded that new legislations are necessary to guarantee an efficient and quality work for the parturient woman and the newborn.
