dc.description.abstract	The work on the issue of women in Brazil in the light of the constitutional foundation of the human person. Thus, the main objective was to verify the conditions in which companies deprived of their liberty find themselves. Therefore, the norms that deal with the subject in the Brazilian legal system, the profile of the incarcerated woman, the difficulties faced by women in prison, the social stigma around this subject and the conditions of Brazilian women's penitentiaries were investigated. Therefore, bibliographic and documentary research methods were used. In the end, it was concluded that the freedom of the human person is not being guaranteed private freedom in Brazil.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O presente trabalho versa sobre a questão da mulher no cárcere brasileiro à luz do fundamento constitucional da dignidade da pessoa humana. Assim, o objetivo precípuo foi verificar as condições em que as mulheres privadas de liberdade se encontram. Para tanto, foram investigadas normas que versam sobre o assunto, no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, o perfil da mulher encarcerada, as maiores dificuldades enfrentadas pela mulher na prisão, o estigma social em torno desse assunto e as condições das penitenciárias femininas brasileiras. Logo, foram utilizados os métodos de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Ao final, concluiu-se que a dignidade da pessoa humana não está sendo assegurada às mulheres privadas de liberdade no Brasil.	pt_BR
