Abstract:
The present work aims to analyze the phenomenon of the feminization of poverty from the Neoliberal Reforms carried out in Brazil in recent years, with a focus, above all, on the Labor Reform. Therefore, an analysis of the Sexual Division of Labor will be made. Then, we will analyze the context of the Brazilian Neoliberal Reforms in recent years, from a perspective that understands Brazil as a country in the South of capitalism. Finally, we will analyze the consequences of the Labor Reform, mainly the precariousness that this reform brought to Brazilian women, demonstrating its implications in an economy in crisis that punishes, above all and mainly, racialized and marginalized women. The research method was bibliographical research, using theoretical references focused on the area of Law, Sociology of Law and Feminist Theory, in addition to collecting data related to the problematization of the feminization of poverty and the systems of domination-exploitation of women. The research had as a result the proof that the neoliberal reforms are decisive for the precariousness of women, causing their social exclusion, inequalities and confirmation of the labor exploitation experienced by women. Initially, it is demonstrated that patriarchy and racism structure the capitalist system, with drastic consequences for women, in addition to proving the existence of the problem of social classes and the misery that resides in the system that distinguishes the categories of sex. Another result obtained was that Neoliberalism creates precarious models of labor exploitation. In addition, the reforms created by this system were presented as a setback for social rights. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the present work provoked theoretical discussions that demonstrate the urgency of producing changes in the contemporary Brazilian reality, proposing a labor right from the female perspective, which can promote the annihilation of the current domination- exploitation model, as well as, the achievement of equal opportunities, both in the field of work and in all social spheres, so that society can finally guarantee the place of women in this society.
