Abstract:
Backgroud: It consists of identifying the factors associated with alcohol
consumption during pregnancy and the prevalence of its use. Objective: To
identify the predictors of alcohol consumption in pregnant women in Brazil
according to publications from the last five years. Problem investigated: What
are the predictors of alcohol consumption in pregnant women in Brazil?
Methodology: This is a narrative review carried out through the databases of
Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), LILACS, PUBMED, Google
Scholar and materials from the Ministry of Health, in which the following health
descriptors (DECS) are used: using the boolean operator “AND”. Results: The
results of this study showed the lack of publications on the identification of factors
associated with alcohol consumption during pregnancy. Conclusion: There is a
high prevalence of alcohol use in the gestational period, and the absence of
publications on the subject.
