dc.description.abstract	The maxillary first premolar has a highly variable morphological configuration. Thus, understanding the anatomy of human teeth and the use of specific endodontic instruments are essential to carry out the idealized endodontic planning. The present study reports the phases of the endodontic treatment of a clinical case of an upper premolar with three roots and three root canals with the presence of symptomatic apical periodontitis. The treatment was performed with a minimally invasive file system (TruNatomy™), allowing the preservation of root dentin.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O primeiro pré-molar superior possui uma configuração morfológica altamente variável. Assim, a compreensão da anatomia dos dentes humanos e o uso de instrumentos endodônticos específicos são essenciais para realizar o planejamento endodôntico idealizado. O presente estudo relata as fases do tratamento endodôntico de um caso clínico de pré-molar superior com três raízes e três canais radiculares com a presença de uma periodontite apical sintomática. O tratamento foi realizado com um sistema de limas minimamente invasivas (TruNatomy™), possibilitando a preservação de dentina radicular.	pt_BR
