Abstract:
This study analyzes the role of the Physical Education professional in the
prevention and recovery of injured athletes. The central problem asks how these
professionals can contribute to the process of recovery and prevention of injuries.
The justification highlights the relevance of the topic in optimizing sports
performance and minimizing the consequences of injuries. The theoretical
foundation emphasizes the importance of the Physical Education professional in the
preparation and rehabilitation of athletes, highlighting challenges in synergy
between health professionals. The methodology adopted is an exploratory
bibliographic review, using qualitative analysis. The final considerations emphasize
the importance of the integrated performance of the Physical Education
professional, highlighting the physical and psychosocial approach for an effective
recovery. It is expected that this study will contribute to the advancement of
knowledge and improvement of practices related to injury prevention and recovery.
