Abstract:
The present study aimed to discuss the rights of rural workers in Brazil today. The
research objective is to analyze which rights are ensured by contemporary labor law
to rural workers. The research starts from the following problem: which rights are
ensured by contemporary labor law to Brazilian rural workers? The methodology
used was bibliographic and documentary research, as besides analyzing articles and
books on the subject, legislation addressing the theme was also examined. The
study also addresses the strategies of organization and mobilization of rural workers
to claim their rights and improve their living conditions. It is concluded by
emphasizing the importance of effective public policies and strengthening social
movements to promote significant change in the reality of rural workers in Brazil.
