dc.description.abstract	Socio-affective multiparentality is a complex phenomenon that emerges from contemporary family relationships, challenging traditional concepts of parenting based solely on biological ancestry. This article seeks to analyze the theoretical dimensions and legal implications of socio-affective multiparentality, highlighting its relevance in the context of modern family relationships. Through a review of the specialized literature and the analysis of jurisprudential cases, we explore the different theoretical approaches to this phenomenon and examine how it is recognized and regulated by the legal system in different jurisdictions. It is intended to show, through jurisprudential and bibliographical research, that there is no ordering between the affective or civil, multiparentality being a guarantee of the dignity of the human person of those who intend to have the recognition of a situation of consolidated affection.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	A multiparentalidade socioafetiva é um fenômeno complexo que emerge das relações familiares contemporâneas, desafiando conceitos tradicionais de parentalidade baseados unicamente na ascendência biológica. Este artigo busca analisar as dimensões teóricas e as implicações jurídicas da multiparentalidade socioafetiva, destacando sua relevância no contexto das relações familiares modernas. Através de uma revisão da literatura especializada e da análise de casos jurisprudenciais, exploramos as diferentes abordagens teóricas desse fenômeno e examinamos como ele é reconhecido e regulamentado pelo ordenamento jurídico em diferentes jurisdições. Pretende-se mostrar, mediante pesquisas jurisprudenciais e bibliográficas, que não há ordenação entre os vínculos parentais biológicos, afetivos ou cíveis, sendo a multiparentalidade uma garantia da dignidade da pessoa humana daqueles que pretendem ter o reconhecimento de uma situação de afeto consolidada.	pt_BR
