Abstract:
The scholarly work with interculturality and multiculturality is a big theme in the new
world. This research aims to analyze the challenges and possibilities of work with
multiculturality and interculturality with childhood education students seeking out and
understanding the role that works with children's literature and how that can assist in
this process, the methodology of this research consists of literature review and
analysis of literary books on the subject. Multiculturalism comes to present the
mixture of cultures and ethnicities bringing knowledge that reports on miscegenation
in our country bringing with it the need for work with intercultural approaches. And
through the multicultural approach, it is possible to develop work that brings
awareness, respect, and appreciation in the face of differences, as well as
recognizing the struggles that have been fought for rights. Finally, it is clear that
children's literature is a great ally to work in this perspective in Childhood Education.
