Abstract:
This research presented theoretical knowledge on the topic of training and development of people and
sought to understand how these programs lead to improvements in organizational performance. It was a qualitative and
descriptive work with a case study in the occupational health sector of a biofuel company in the interior of Minas Gerais. It
was observed how much the training and development programs add value to the company and the employee, in addition
to enhancing the economic, social and business environment. Thus, it can be seen in the interview how much the
improvement programs lead not only to improve the performance of the performance of daily tasks, but also offer
conditions for personal and professional growth for the company's employees.
