Abstract:
This research presents concepts and contributions of functional training,besides to their relationship with the process of human's aging. The practice of physical exercises by the elderly people is an important factor for healthy aging, considering all the physiological processes that happen in this stage of life in the various body's systems, such as: muscular, osseous and cardiovascular. Therefore, we look to analyze and present the benefits of functional training for the process of human's aging, in yet another effort to guide people on the importance of physical exercise, besides to understanding measures that enable well-being of the physical and psychological aspects of elderly people. The social relevance of this research consists in bringing knowledge and making society aware of the importance of staying active through physical exercise during the process of human's aging. Besides, encourage people who don't have this habit, to exercise with the aim of achieving a life's health. The chosen theme was elaborated in the form of bibliographic research through articles that enabled the perception by importance of the practice of functional training in all phases of life.
