Abstract:
Considering that cervical cancer is a preventable disease nowadays and due to the number of
women that affect it, research is carried out on the role of pharmacists in the face of this
disease, in order to contribute to the reduction of cases and information. as a form of
prevention. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the social and economic profile of these
patients susceptible to the disease and the types of HPV that most affect them and their forms
of prevention. A bibliographic review of integrative synthesis is carried out, to analyze the
ways in which the pharmacist can contribute to the prevention and treatment of this cancer in
women. In view of this, it appears that cervical cancer is an injury caused by the HPV virus
that, if left untreated, progresses to cervical cancer, which imposes the finding that the
pharmacist is able to contribute to the affected women can be helped and informed so that
there is no development of cervical cancer.
