dc.description.abstract	Considering that cervical cancer is a preventable disease nowadays and due to the number of women that affect it, research is carried out on the role of pharmacists in the face of this disease, in order to contribute to the reduction of cases and information. as a form of prevention. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the social and economic profile of these patients susceptible to the disease and the types of HPV that most affect them and their forms of prevention. A bibliographic review of integrative synthesis is carried out, to analyze the ways in which the pharmacist can contribute to the prevention and treatment of this cancer in women. In view of this, it appears that cervical cancer is an injury caused by the HPV virus that, if left untreated, progresses to cervical cancer, which imposes the finding that the pharmacist is able to contribute to the affected women can be helped and informed so that there is no development of cervical cancer.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	Tendo em vista que o câncer do colo do útero é uma doença evitável nos dias de hojee pela quantidade de mulheres que acometem, pesquisa-se sobre a atuação do farmacêutico frente à essa doença, a fim de contribuir com a diminuição de casos e informações como forma de prevenção. Para tanto, é necessário analisar o perfil social e econômico dessas pacientes suscetíveis à doença e os tipos de HPV que mais acometem e suas formas de prevenção. Realiza-se, então, uma pesquisa de revisãobibliográfica de síntese integrativa, para analisar as maneiras com as quais o farmacêutico podecontribuir para a prevenção e tratamento desse câncer em mulheres. Diante disso, verifica-se que câncer do colo do útero é de uma lesão causada pelo vírus HPV que se não for tratada evolui para o câncer do colo do útero, o que impõe a constatação de que o farmacêutico é capaz de contribuir para que as mulheres acometidas possam ser auxiliadas e informadas a fim de que não haja desenvolvimento do câncer do colo do útero.	pt_BR
