Abstract:
This monograph aims to report the relevance of the use of Digital Information and
Communication Technologies (TDIC) and how the lack of digital inclusion affects
basic education, causing social inequalities and digital and social exclusion of
individuals. Its general objective is to analyze the main challenges and possibilities of
using DICT from the perspective of digital inclusion in basic education. To carry out
the research and give theoretical support to the study of the were, a bibliographical
research was carried out from the reading of articles, monographs and books and
also a documentary research, through the analysis of documents and legislation on
the problem. For the presentation of the two research results, the main educational
challenges faced for the insertion of technology in the classroom, in the face of the
new reality currently experienced with the emergence of the pandemic and its effects
on basic education, are highlighted. Due to these factors, thus presented, the
possibilities of effecting digital inclusion in educational institutions and the importance
of seeking a technology-based education that includes everyone without distinction.
