dc.description.abstract	The feasibility of carrying out the proposed study was due to the history of difficulties faced by rural workers in relation to the acquisition of their respective social security benefits. There are many obstacles encountered by rural workers at the time when it is necessary, in addition to meeting the legal requirements for obtaining the benefit, to prove, through documentary evidence, or in certain cases, testimonials, the grace period required for the realization of this right. . In this sense, during the research, the concept of social security was presented, as well as its history in Brazil, the changes in legislation, which began to guarantee rural workers and their dependents, in case they are unable to provide for their own livelihood. or their family. The different categories of rural workers were addressed. Finally, it was verified that in the legislation there are many documents that serve as the beginning of proof of rural activity, but that the social, political and economic disadvantages before the large rural producers, as well as the discredit faced when the ability to remain exercising their work ends, that is, when their retirement is necessary. Both the responsible autarchy and the jurisprudence are controversial regarding the granting of their due benefits. The research was carried out through analysis of jurisprudence, legislation and renowned scholars.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	A viabilidade da realização do estudo proposto decorreu do histórico de dificuldades enfrentadas pelos trabalhadores rurais em relação à aquisição de seus respectivos benefícios perante a Previdência Social. Muitos são os entraves encontrados pelos trabalhadores rurais no momento em que se faz necessário, além de atingir os requisitos legais para a obtenção do benefício, comprovar, através de provas documentais, ou em determinados casos, testemunhais, a carência exigida para a concretização deste direito. Nesse sentido, ao decorrer da pesquisa, foi apresentado o conceito de previdência social, bem como, o seu histórico no Brasil, as mudanças nas legislações, que passaram a assegurar os trabalhadores rurais e seus dependentes, caso este não consiga prover o próprio sustento ou de sua família. Foram abordadas as diferentes categorias de trabalhadores rurais. Por fim, verificou se, que, na legislação, muitos são os documentos que servem como início de comprovação da atividade rural, mas que, as desvantagens sociais, políticas e econômicas perante os grandes produtores rurais, bem como o desprestígio enfrentado quando do fim da capacidade de permanecer exercendo seu labor, ou seja, quando é necessária a sua aposentadoria. Tanto a autarquia responsável quanto a jurisprudência mostram-se controversas quanto à concessão de seus devidos benefícios. A pesquisa se deu por meio de análises jurisprudenciais, das legislações e de renomados doutrinadores.	pt_BR
