dc.description.abstract	The study on the legal elements of the criminalization of child trafficking for the purpose of organ removal in Brazil has been prompted due to the fact that this practice violates human rights and puts financial gain ahead of the lives of innocent people. The research's specific goals are to identify the importance of upholding the laws currently in place to safeguard children, to learn how effectively the relevant authorities are performing, and, through an analysis of recent cases in Brazil, to develop a profile based on the characteristics of the children who are victims of this illegal activity. It was possible to verify the disheartening truth of the lack of respect for human dignity involving Brazilian children. In addition, it was observed that the police's inaction in investigating crimes and providing the victims' families with a suitable response, combined with the Brazilian judiciary's delays, clearly implies the impunity of the offenders.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O estudo sobre os contornos da criminalização do tráfico de crianças para fins de remoção de órgãos no Brasil, foi estimulado por tratar-se de violação de direitos humanos, cuja crueldade prioriza o dinheiro no lugar de vidas humanas. Tendo como objetivos específicos compreender a necessidade de se efetivar as normas existentes para a proteção da criança, bem como conhecer a atuação das autoridades envolvidas e também para traçar o perfil destas crianças vítimas dessa prática criminosa, por meio de casos recentes ocorridos no Brasil. Foi possível verificar uma triste realidade da falta de respeito quanto à dignidade humana envolvendo as crianças brasileiras. Observou-se também, a morosidade do judiciário brasileiro implicando na clara impunidade dos criminosos, além da inércia da polícia em desvendar os crimes e dar uma resposta satisfatória às famílias das vítimas.	pt_BR
